This photo is different than what I usually post.
The lighting is bad, and the quality is grainy, but @robinnectar and I were having the best time.
Last night we lost power, and without WiFi and no cell signal, our phones were worthless.
We built a fort, because we both used to love making them when we were kids, put a bucket over a candle to make more light, drew goddess oracle cards, and laughed until it hurt.
It transported me back to the days before we were all on our phones all the time, and it was magical.
I want to forget a lot of what I learned as an “influencer” and post more real photos, like this one.
I’d rather share a dark and grainy photo that lights up my heart, than a perfectly staged one that I feel no emotional attachment to.
This may not get a lot of likes, but I don’t care, because this night was one of my favorite ever. ✨
