It was so healing to get out in nature, taking in all the views with good people around ( especially

It was so healing to get out in nature, taking in all the views with good people around ( especially this handsome dad of mine )! I have lived with some pretty Intense anxiety since high school and typically the only way i can find relief is by suffering through a hard run or long crossfit workout but that doesn’t exactly work when I’m anywhere but at the gym. Soooo I’m working on “self soothing” while keeping my heart rate somewhere closer to “resting” and it’s taking some work. –
Beginner tip #1: get outside where you can find peace and quiet.
Beginner tip #2: know you’re not alone in how you’re feeling, allow yourself to “feel” those feelings and then allow yourself to move forward into a more relaxed and happy YOU 😘 –
I like to think I’m not alone in having anxiety or going through life’s ups and downs. My dad has always taught me to try and learn from what’s happening and then allow myself to grow and move forward with a better plan of attack. Whether it be a speeding ticket , poor test scores or finishing a crossfit competition in a position Im not proud of, all I can do is accept it, learn from it and then look forward. Life is a crazy thing and I’m beyond grateful for this man and everything he has taught me. I love you dad ❤️
