As a yogi, I thought I was practicing living a conscious life, until I realized that every plastic water bottle I bought at studios, to stay hydrated, still exists today. 😱
Considering the number of yoga classes I’ve taken in my life, that’s A LOT of bottles. I truly wish I had started bringing my own bottle years ago, but I’m grateful that at least my eyes are open now. 😢
Did you know that a lot of yoga studios rely on plastic water bottle sales for a substantial part of their monthly income? They can’t stop selling them, because we all keep buying them. Kinda crazy when you really think about it. 😱
I bet if those bottles weren’t actually selling, the studios would quit stocking them. Hmmmm… 🤔
That’s how it works: we vote with our dollar. As conscious consumers, when we come together and combine the power of all of our dollars, we actually have A LOT of power. 💧
Switching to a reusable bottle is a simple change that saves you money, gives you the warm and fuzzy feeling that comes with good karma, and truly makes a world of difference. 🙌🏼

When plastic water bottles stop selling, beverage brands will be forced to adapt, and imagine what that could mean for our oceans and our environment! 🌎
I try to practice what I preach, so when @findtap challenged me to be the change, I stepped up. 👊🏼
.
I pledge to continue to #drinkdifferent for another 30 days (and life!) by not buying any single-use water bottles and always bringing my own reusable bottle instead. 💧
@ariannahuff, @dovecameron, & @jessewelle, I challenge you to #drinkdifferent! 😃
Each person who pledges = 16 bottles saved from our oceans or a landfill (on average). 🙌🏼
.
TAG @findtap #drinkdifferent so we can track our progress! Together we can create a tidal wave of change, and shift the current trajectory of our planet! 🌎
Be the change. Drink different. 💧
