Quick Rice Porridge w/recipe. When you are craving rice porridge but don’t have much time, use rice flakes instead of short-grain rice, it only takes 15 min to prepare. .
Quick rice porridge
100 g rice flakes
500 ml plant-based milk
seeetener of choice
1 cup mixed berries
cinnamon .
Bring plant-based milk to the boil and add rice flakes. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and allow to rest for 10 minutes, with a closed lid. Sweeten to taste and serve with a dash of cinnamon, and fresh or hot berries.
